Dr. Jarman is the most recent addition to the physician staff of Advanced Bone & Joint, starting in the summer of 2019. A native of Missouri, Dr. Jarman completed undergraduate studies at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska and medical school at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. His military service as a physician included an internship in Aurora, Colorado, General Medical Officer near Nuremburg, Germany, Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, and Staff Orthopedists at Fort Polk in west central Louisiana.
After completing his military service, Dr. Jarman moved to Dearborn County, Indiana, where he practiced general orthopedics for 23 years including a solo practice for nearly 10 years. As a general orthopedist, Dr. Jarman is trained in the evaluation and treatment of injuries and conditions of the extremities including fracture care, joint dislocations/instability, tendon procedures, and arthritis procedures, including joint replacement. Dr. Jarman has been board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons since 1996, re-certifying twice.
